Among the twelve chapters, seven are related to the psychological tasks that cultural diversity poses and five to close interpersonal relationships and their cross-cultural aspects. The reader can learn, among others, about Tibetan refugees in India, German expatriates in China, immigrants in rural Canada. Polish young adults' perception of conflicts in close relationships in Poland, France and Spain. The chapters of the book, written by internationally highly acknowledged researchers of the field, are a great source of theoretical knowledge that serve to promote understanding of the studied phenomena and they also present brand new and exciting research results. Therefore this book is a must and a valuable learning material for those who are interested in cultural and gender issues both for personal and professional reasons.
