Understanding Sex and Gender

Alicja Kuczyńska (edit.), Elżbieta Katarzyna Dzikowska (edit.)

There are many species of plants and animals which reproduce sexually on earth. However, for all of them sex has not turned out to be so important as for human being. Sex defines human motivation, forms behaviour, releases emotions. On the one hand it makes our sense of reality stable but on the other hand it pushes into constant changes. Sometimes it is a burden to people, sometimes an advantage. It can be a source of the most magnificent creative inspiration but also a basis for negative stereotypes and discrimination.
